Слова, приведенные ниже, все относятся к одной тематике – «тело человека». Поскольку они повсеместно используются в нашей жизни, знание их – одна из необходимейших компетенций.
Для большего эффекта к каждому слову приведен не перевод его на русский язык, а толкование данного слова на английском языке.
Body is the flesh and bones and other parts of a person or animal.
Head – the part of the body containing the brains, eyes, and mouth.
Face – the front part of your head.
Hair is the soft covering that grows on the heads and bodies of people and animals.
Skin – the outer covering of a person’s or animal’s body.
Nose – the part of the face that is used for breathing and smelling.
Eye- the organ of your body used for seeing.
Ear – the organ of the body that you hear with.
Mouth-the part of the face that opens for eating and speaking
Tooth – each of the hard white bony parts that grow in the gums, used for biting and chewing.
Tongue – the long soft part that moves about inside the mouth.
Neck – the part of the body that joins the head to the shoulders.
Chest – your chest is the front part of your body between your neck and you waist.
Back – the part of your body between your shoulders and your bottom.
Arm – the part of your body between your shoulders and your hand.
Hand – the part of your body at the end of your arm.
Finger – one of the separate parts of your hand.
Leg- one of the parts of human’s or animal’s body on which they stand or move.
Foot – the lower part of your leg below your ankle.
Blood- blood is the red liquid that flows through the veins and arteries.
Heart- the part of the body that makes the blood circulate.
Stomach – the part of the body where the food starts to be digested.
